GREAT READ ALERT: This books is great for grads and everyone faced with making tough decisions

In this year alone, the world has become an incredible oyster of opportunity and growth. Life has hinged on major decisions and though difficult, has proven great growth and discovery. In the spirit of Legacy (my great WHY) and synergy (my great contribution to the world) I share with you, reader, the writings on the wall, the divine poetics, or my breadcrumbs in the wilderness that has been blowing my mind right now. I hope you are inspired too!

In The Crossroads of Should and Must, I found a kindred spirit in the author, Elle Luna. An artist/ creative to the bone. The book felt like a necessary 20 min pep talk that everyone needs to hear (especially if you have a creative brain as well.) I happened upon this find on my kids’ weekly library visit after a bout of using the Google search bar as my magic 8 ball. Oh yes, you know the questions. Do I choose A or B? How do I know which choice is the right choice? How do I listen to my gut? What if my gut doesn’t work? The title alone made me feel this was the right book at the divine time but the ease to slip into the pages was even sweeter.

For even the most scattered or distracted minds, this quick read is worth the physical act of sitting in the still and quiet. Elle does a great job of keeping the senses engaged with watercolored illustrations and varying text sizes and shapes. I love the license she takes in conveying that choosing what you MUST follows very few rules (even those of the traditional print format) if any and freedom is a result of your choosing.

My takeaway: Choose whatever it is that gives you the butterflies of what could be. You cannot afford not to choose the you that is within. There is only one life here as we know it and what a waste if you can not live it to its greatest potential. Shoot for the moon and you will at the least have a great adventure to tell!
